The British beauty had been rocking platinum blonde hair as part of her role in upcoming drama Tina and Bobby, however with filming having wrapped up last week, it seems she was keen to go back to her favoured chocolate-toned locks.
The former Coronation Street actress turned heads as she arrived for an appearance at BBC Breakfast in Manchester, her voluminous locks worn down in a sleek blow-dry to show of her gorgeous new colour. She complemented her makeover with a stylish ensemble, opting for a sleeveless high-neck cream top, black skinny jeans and matching boots.

While she is renowned for being a brunette, the makeover still marks a change for the actress, as it appears to be one of her lighter brown looks to date.
Michelle shocked her 2.7 million Instagram followers earlier this yearwhen she posted a striking selfie in which she revealed she had dyed her hair an eye-catching shade of platinum blonde. The Our Girl star showed off her new 'do as she and husband Mark Wright headed to the Wireless music festival where they watched Calvin Harris perform.

Vernon Deysel, the hairstylist who created Michelle's look, previously revealed exclusively to HELLO! Online that it had taken two days to complete the makeover. Despite this marking a major change for the star, Vernon – who works at the Paul Edmonds salon – explained that she was enthusiastic about the change, especially after husband Mark admitted he was a fan of the look.

"She was just amazing, lovely, and I think what happened is when her husband came in at the end of day one and he loved it, I think that automatically made it easier for her too," he explained. "She loved it from when we started which was great."
At the time, Vernon did reveal that Michelle had hinted that despite loving the look, she would be returning to her natural brown tresses after filming. "Maybe she'll decide that blondes have more fun, but she has discussed already that she'll be going back," he said.
