Taylor Swift has gone for an edgy new hairstyle
The Bad Blood hitmaker debuted her new 'do at Liberty Ross' birthday bash, posing in the photobooth with hairstylist Gareth Bromell, the man behind her makeover. It was Gareth who caused a social media frenzy when he uploaded the snaps onto his Instagram account, with fans quickly flooding the comments section with compliments and messages of praise for the star.
The hair guru posted a sweet photo montage of himself and Taylor smouldering for the camera, the Blank Space singer complementing her new hairstyle with a slick of statement matte red lipstick.
A few hours later Gareth shared another photo, revealing that Taylor had also opted to update her colour, turning to celebrity stylist Tracey Cunningham, who boasts an impressive A-list clientele including Chrissy Teigen, Lily Aldridge and Khloé Kardashian.

It's not the first time that Taylor has caused a social media storm with a makeover. Earlier this year she floored fans when she hit Coachella music festival, having dyed her trademark honey hued locks into a platinum blonde shade.
Taylor and Tom Hiddleston recently split
Taylor's latest makeover comes a few weeks after it was revealed that she and actor Tom Hiddleston have called time on their relationship. The couple went public with their romance in June when they were photographed kissing on a beach, and a whirlwind romance quickly followed.
Within weeks the pair had met each other's parents, travelled around the world together and celebrated 4 July at Taylor's annual bash.
"It was an intense start," a source told Us Weekly. "No one can keep that kind of momentum going. "They get along great and will remain friends, but they just don't see it working romantically right now."
