The ponytail is the perfect hairstyle that is not only easy to do but suits everybody. Favoured by stars including Selena Gomez, Kendall Jenner and Ariana Grande both on and off the red carpet, this updo is more versatile than you may think. Hair Rehab London, the hair extensions brand created by Lauren Pope, has provided a week's worth of hair inspiration with seven different ponytail styles you can easily recreate at home.

Monday: The Modern Quiff

Kickstart the working week with a quiff. Gently backcomb hair at the roots and tease back into a quiff. Using a comb, sweep the sides of hair back into your ponytail, and finish with a spritz of hairspray.

Tuesday: Highly Strung

A natural wave will add volume and texture to your ponytail. Take a thin piece of hair from the underneath of your ponytail and wrap around the elastic before securing with a grip to conceal your bobble.

Wednesday: Sideswept

Try a sideswept ponytail for a pretty midweek look. Add volume at the crown with a finecomb and use wide barrell curlers to create a loose wave.

Thursday: Slick and Centred

This is a quick and easy hairstyle to try before work. Put a centre parting into freshly washed and straightened hair and tease back into a low ponytail. Spray with hairspray to secure your look and tame any flyaways.

Friday: The Fishtail

This one may take a bit of extra time to master, but is well worth the effort. Take a look at our top 10 beauty hacks for the perfect braid and you'll be well away.

Saturday: The Bubble Pony

Try something different on your next night out with this sleek bubble ponytail. Sweep all of your hair back into a ponytail, wrapping a piece of hair around the bobble and pinning into place. Then tie thin elastic bands evenly along the length of your ponytail and gently push out so your hair forms into the eye-catching bubble shape.

Sunday: Braided Bun

Up your weekend beauty game with this braided top knot. Tie your hair into a high ponytail before braiding and piling onto the top of your head, securing with grips and hairspray.
