Alessandra Ambrosio, Adriana Lima, Bella Hadid and the rest of the Victoria's Secret beauties stormed the runway in Shanghai last week for the lingerie giant's annual Fashion Show. As well as all having flawless faces and super toned bodies, another thing most of the models had in common was loosely curled hair. We spoke to ghd curl connoisseur Adam Reed to get the low-down on how to recreate the soft, sexy waves at home.
"It's a modern, luxe wave this year; more luxe and dressed than before. It's a move on the from the undone beach wave of the past, to something more structured and beautiful," ghd global ambassador Adam told us. Read on for Adam's tips on to get the look:

- "A good blow-dry is essential to set the foundation of the hair before tonging it," Adam said. Blow-dry hair smooth using the ghd Ceramic Vented Radial Brush size 4. Or try Moroccanoil's ceramic 45 mm Round Brush.
- Once blow-dried, spritz hair with a curl hold spray and then tong through your hair using the ghd curve classic curl tong to create waves. Wind small sections of hair around the tong, wrapping hair in one direction, away from the face. This will give a beautiful modern and voluminous wave.
- Brush through hair with a paddle brush and then gently shake the curls out using your hands for a tousled, sexy and modern finish.
- Finally spray your favourite hairspray all over to hold the style in place. We like ghd Final Fix Hairspray, L'Oreal Paris' Elnett Glam Waves and Schwarzkopf got2b Happy Hour 24 Hour Hairspray.
