Meghan Markle is known for her lengthy glossy brunette hair, which she tends to wear loose around her shoulders. But this week, the 36-year-old decided to switch up her signature beauty look during an appearance in Brixton with Prince Harry. Meghan opted to wear her hair back away from her face in a messy bun, with her tresses tied back in a relaxed, casual style. The bun helped draw attention to Meghan's pretty features - and what's more, it's so simple to recreate. We spoke to Bridget O'Keeffe – founder of Blush + Blow, Fulham's super-glam salon - to get the lowdown on Meghan's recent 'do and how you can achieve the look at home:

Meghan's updo sent fans into a frenzy!

Of Meghan's style, Bridget said: "She's showing the world that although she is a royal-to-be, she can keep things simple yet chic. On closer inspection, her effortless look wasn't achieved without looking in the mirror. She has volume in the crown of her head, just enough to flatter her angled face. The messy hair that frames her face are still fluffy and glossy. It's clear to see that she wasn't trying to hide a four-day old blow-dry but rather wanted to keep her lock low key."

How to re-create Meghan's look

Bridget also shared how to recreate the former Suits actress's look:

"Using your fingers only, pull your hair back into a mid-slung ponytail and tie with a thin hair elastic," she explained. "Then twisting the hair and simultaneously wrapping it around itself to form a donut, make sure you are aren't too precise about it. Secure with a hair tie wrapped around itself."
