Trinny Woodall has shared a video clip revealing her quick fix for touching up her roots. The TV star, who found fame on show What Not to Wear is known for her online beauty tutorials, and her latest post was extremely popular with her fans on Instagram. In the clip, Trinny appears wearing a face mask, which she tells viewers is the Advance Night Repair PowerFoil mask by Estee Lauder. Speaking of her roots, she says: "Due to my consumption of Biotin, my hair is growing really quickly. But the downside is that the grey comes through and at this time of year when the hairdresser is not always open, that's always the time when you think, I wish I'd done my roots."

Trinny reveals: "There's two things that I love that I always use. One thing is Colour Wow." The star then demonstrates how to apply the product on the roots by her parting, explaining: "You take your little applicator and you go and brush out the grey like that, which works very well."

Colour Wow is available from colourwowhair.co.uk for £28.50

"The other one which I'm in love with that I discovered this year, is Rita Hazan," continues Trinny, as she sprays the product onto the roots by her forehead. "Covered it in a flash and then I don't have to go to the hairdresser or worry about it and I can get on with my life."

Her fans loved her helpful advice, with one commenting: "Amazing what these products do, I love using sometimes in between colours dry shampoo." One follower had a tip of her own, writing: "A good tip is to use coconut oil combined with lemon juice as a hair mask and wash it off. Lemon Juice helps to reduce grey hairs and coconut oil gives moisture to the hair. Try to apply this every week and you will notice a big difference."
