When you think of Paloma Faith you think of her incredible voice, her wacky stage outfits and her long hair with a blunt fringe. But now, well, she doesn’t look like that anymore. The new mum has gone for the chop AND for a colour switch up. Showing off a brand new peroxide blonde hairstyle, cut just above her shoulder, it’s a totally new look for the 36-year-old.

Arriving at The ELLE List at Somerset House, Paloma rocked a short blonde hairstyle, but is it a wig? We can’t be sure. The singer teamed her new ‘do with a green slinky floor length gown by Ong-Oaj Pairam, metallic platform shoes by Charlotte Olympia and a vampy manicure. All eyes were on her beauty look, though. As well as the new grown up hairstyle, her makeup was fuss-free and simple.

The Voice coach was instantly recognisable thanks to her long hair and blunt fringe

On Instagram, when thanking her glam squad, Paloma credited Olaplex for bringing her hair 'back from the dead'. Olaplex is a bond multiplier that dramatically reduces breakage from hair colour - plenty of celebrities credit Olaplex for improving the condition of their hair - even Drew Barrymore recently declared it her hair hero

At the start of Paloma’s career we saw a lot of bold, dramatic hairstyles inspired by vintage cabaret shows and burlesque performers. From pin curls to quiffs, victory rolls and crazy hats.

This is a totally new look for the singer, with one fan commenting on her Instagram that she looked like Debbie Harry. What do you make of this new look? Tweet us @HelloMag.
