The Duchess of Sussex looked beyond gorgeous at her very first Trooping the Colour ceremony on Saturday alongside Prince Harry. As she rode alongside her new husband in the horse-drawn carriage – fans went wild for her beautiful blush pink, off-the-shoulder gown which was by Carolina Herrera. But, as well as the pretty dress, all eyes were on THAT hat – which was a bespoke Philip Treacy creation that crowned her mane perfectly. Beauty fans all over the world wondered, 'just how did her hair stay quite so perfect?' and more importantly, 'how did she escape the dreaded hat hair?' Y'see, 'hat hair' can be the arch nemesis to your perfectly coiffed hair, leaving it lacklustre and flattened by your hat, and NO ONE wants that.

Natasha, Senior Elite Stylist at blow LTD explains you can control you hair under a hat by using a few simple products: "Use a finishing cream or balm to get rid of any fly away strands of hair. It’s so simple – just use a small coin size of product and rub together in your hands, before distributing evenly through the mid-lengths and ends of your hair. Finish by gently smoothing the top of the hair before placing the hat." Natasha also explains that you should "Opt for a fascinator hat, the band will create less friction on your hair allowing it to stay neatly in place." And if in doubt, be prepared by "carrying a small bristle brush in your bag to untangle hair throughout the day."
Duchess Meghan's chestnut hair has long been one of her most beautiful features, with many people itching to get her voluminous waves.
