When it comes to the Academy Awards, you always know there's going to be no shortage of incredible dresses to feast your eyes on but usually, it's the beauty looks we get really excited about and this year's Oscars did not disappoint. The A-listers took to the red carpet at Los Angeles's Dolby Theatre and wowed the world with their hair and makeup looks. From Regina King's wavy bob to Charlize Theron's hair transformation and Amy Adam's metallic smoky eyes, here is our pick of the Oscar's best beauty looks 2019…

Regina King

Regina King may have won Best Supporting Actress but she also won at serious hair goals with this stunning wavy lob (that's long-bob, FYI).

lady gaga

Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga's glam squad included makeup artist Sarah Nicole Tanno and hairstylist Frederic Aspiras. For the hair, Gaga's glam look was prepped and styled using Joico hair products. He used the ghd Soft Curl Iron to gently curl her hair and then worked it up into an amazing updo.

For the makeup, it was all about Marc Jacobs Beauty. "Her makeup was all about being soft, fresh and young. We didn't want anything to distract from this special moment," Sarah said.

If you're obsessed with Gaga's lip colour, Sarah applied Le Marc Lip Creme Lipstick in Slow Burn. To set the skin, Sarah applied the new Accomplice Instant Blurring Beauty Powder in Muse to blur any imperfections and enhance her red carpet glow and to protect her from the flashbulbs.

emma stone

Emma Stone

We love the way Emma's smouldering shadow was shaped into a subtle cat-eye - the colour really made her eyes pop, right?

amy adams

Amy Adams

Amy Adams turned to makeup artist Stephen Sollitto to give her an Oscars beauty look. Using Charlotte Tilbury makeup products, he added a smokey metallic eyeshadow using the Luxury Palette in Dolce Vita and Golden Goddess. For lips, it was all about the cult Pillow Talk lipstick, and on the cheeks, he opted for Filmstar Bronze and Glow.

brie larson

Brie Larson

Rocking a deep side-parting, Brie Larson's seriously making us reconsider our current hair situation.

rachel weisz

Rachel Weisz

Lucky Rachel Weisz! Her makeup artist Kay Montano gave her a chic Oscars makeover using two brand new beauty products - the Charlotte Tilbury Icons Palette (dreamy!), and the new Latex Love lip gloss, also by Charlotte Tilbury. Friends in high places, hey?

charlize

Charlize Theron

If you have to choose an occasion to showcase a killer new hair colour, why not make it the Oscars a la Charlize Theron?

emelia clarke

Emilia Clarke

Tying her beauty look into her pink look, Emilia looked super fresh with blushed rosy cheeks and a beautiful soft pink lip.

paris jackson

Paris Jackson

Ok, we're obsessed with Paris Jackson's makeup - incredible! If you're wondering what eyeliner she uses, well, we've found out! Her makeup artist, Jo Baker, used the Charlotte Tilbury Rock N Kohl in Verushka Mink. Immediately adds to basket.

gemma

Gemma Chan

Wow, not only did Gemma Chan wear a winged eye with two-tone shadow, she also wore the best hair accessory of the night…

Glenn Close

Simple and elegant, Glenn simply chose a little eyeliner and a swipe of pink lippie for her makeup look and it looked perfect.

kacey

Kacey Musgraves

Kacey opted for a stunningly romantic makeup look with doll-eye lashes, silver-rimmed tear ducts and a nude glossy lip. Perfection.

olivia coleman

Olivia Colman

Olivia Colman showed you don't have to stray from your go-to beauty look to get noticed on the carpet. The Oscar winner looked stunning with her trademark pixie crop and a dusty coral lip.
