Just a few weeks into the new year, Hilary Duff has already majorly upped the beauty stakes with a gorgeous new hair colour. The 28-year-old has dyed her blonde bob into striking pastel pink hues, causing a social media frenzy as fans immediately had hair envy.

The star was spotted heading to Hollywood hair salon Nine Zero One with her bob swept back into a low ponytail, later re-emerging with her bold new hairdo. She quickly showed off her new look, posting a stunning selfie in which she wore her new pink bob down in tousled waves. "Good morning," she simply wrote in the caption to her five million followers.
Stylist Nikki Lee, who has also worked with stars including Selena Gomez, shared a close-up snap on Instagram of Hilary rocking her edgy new look, paired with pale pink lips for a red carpet-worthy look.
It seems that Hilary has been after a makeover since finishing the filming of the second season of TV show Younger, which she had been working on in recent months.

A few days before Christmas, the former Lizzie McGuire star caused a stir when she revealed she had her long wavy locks chopped into a short bob. Sharing a gorgeous selfie on Instagram, Hilary flaunted the new blunt style which fell just a few inches above her shoulders. "Soooo it's pretty short," she quipped in the caption. "Thank you @cynthiavanis chopping."
However despite already having gone for a major change, it seems Hilary wanted to take the bold look one step further, having now dyed her hair into their new pink hues.

Hilary is no stranger to pink hair – she already experimented with the look last year when she opted for a dip dyed bubblegum pink effect, paired with pale grey tones. She is renowned for her fearless approach to trying out new hair colours, and in the past has rocked a wide range of colours including a turquoise green shade she joked was inspired by mermaids.
