It's a question almost every woman asks, and the question every man dreads — "Does my bum look big in this?" Instead of obsessing over our derriere and its size, we should look to the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Kim Kardashian and Beyonce who embrace their womanly assets. To help you think more positively about having a bigger bottom, here's a gallery of our favourite celebs celebrating their curves.
Whilst 70 per cent of women believe their men would give an honest answer to the dreaded question when trying on clothes in-store, according to new research by Very.co.uk, the vast majority admit to saying "the right thing" simply to keep the peace. As a result, every British woman has a staggering average of 104 items they’ve bought but never actually worn – totaling £2.3 billion worth of outfits left languishing in wardrobes that will never see the light of day.
One in 10 men said they felt an honest answer would upset their partner and ruin a weekend, while a quarter of men admitted they had lied so they wouldn't have to continue shopping. Julie Donnelly, a spokesperson for Very.co.uk said: "The ‘does my bum look big in this’ question can be a tricky one for British men, particularly when it's put to them just outside a busy changing room in a department store."
But fibbing partners aside, the pertinent question for us here is: why are we British women so concerned about how big our bum looks?
