Lucy Mecklenburgh has shown off the results of her recent workout regimes in a Twitter snap. The TOWIE star, 22, is seen holding two dumbbells as she poses in her gym kit, giving fans a look at her toned physique as she filmed for her upcoming DVD, Results With Lucy."Filming for @resultswithlucy… 20 workouts down!! #hardcore," she captioned the snap.
Writing on her website, Lucy recently explained the reason for deciding to drastically up her workout sessions. "Growing up as a teenager in Brentwood, I was always 'tall and skinny' and I kept that body shape through into my twenties," she wrote. "But as I got older I started to notice cellulite developing on my bum and upper legs and what I realised was that although I was 'still slim' somehow I was carrying excess fat."
She then decided to hire personal trainer Cecilia, who explains that she helped to 'trim and tweak' Lucy's body shape. In the final episode of TOWIE's ninth season, which aired last week, Lucy was seen telling Jessica Wright she was fed up with the criticism surrounding her petite body size. "I'm getting so much stick at the moment about my size," she said. "It's really annoying me. I'm healthy. I am a six to eight, which is small, but it's through exercise. "Meanwhile, Lucy, who is Mark Wright's ex girlfriend, has confirmed that she is dating The Wanted singer Max George, the ex fiancé of Mark's current girlfriend Michelle Keegan.Speaking to new! Magazine, she insisted that the pair's romantic history is not an issue. "As far as we're concerned, they are in our past," she said. "It's not something that bothers us or we're worried about. "Speaking about Max's bad boy image, Lucy said, "I'm not worried about people saying he's a bad boy. They can say what they like. I haven't seen it."
