TOWIE's Lucy Mecklenburgh has credited her extraordinary body to tough workouts and a balanced diet. Now the brunette beauty wants to share her health secrets with her fans by launching BootyCamp, a girls only boot camp. "BootyCamp will be a fun way of exercising and learning about health and fitness," the 23-year-old exclusively told HELLO! Online. "I can't wait to hang out with everyone and have a gossip too!"
The new residential course is an extension of her fitness plan Results with Lucy. "I hear so many stories from people all over who are following my Results with Lucy plan," she added. "I love hearing about their journeys, so to bring it to life is a dream come true. "To promote her new venture, she posted a racy photo of herself on her Twitter page.
Lucy, who was crowned best bikini body of 2013 back in the summer, has revealed how she maintains her toned physique. "I would rather treat myself and work out than deprive myself of all the lovely things in life," she told Closer magazine. She also offered some valuable advice for people who want to get their bodies bikini-ready.
"Never go for a quick-fix diet and never skip meals, because it makes your body store fat," she said. "Set a realistic goal for losing weight – one or two pounds a week – and eat regularly and healthily. "Lucy also revealed what her workouts involve, "I do mainly interval training. I probably do 100 crunches a day. Most mornings I wake up and do as many as I can.
Although she's always been naturally slim, she admits that she hasn't always been happy with the way she looks. "I didn't like my bum and my thighs, but I worked really hard and I'm happy with the way they are now. "The first of Lucy's BootyCamps takes place in Shropshire in January 2014, to book yourself on to one of Lucy's camps you can visit bootycampwithlucy.com.
