Catherine Tyldesley is HELLO! Online's new blogger

1 She’s already inspiring health enthusiasts…

“People who follow me on Twitter will probably already know I’m quite passionate about good health and nutrition,” she told us about her loyal legion of online pals nearing 200,000.“I will be asking lots of different experts for advice on nutrition, fitness, well being and general health. I have a fitness instructor Paul Boys who really knows his stuff and a pal of mine Dale Pinnock who is a chef and nutritionist.

They give me a lot of great advice and I'm looking forward to sharing it in my blog.

2 She has transformed her image…

The screen star previously gained plenty of attention from TV viewers after shedding a lot of weight. She counts that period of her life as a major achievement when it comes to her dieting experiences.“I lost nearly four stone in a year and now it’s all about maintaining it and learning about new things.“It didn’t just drop off me,” she admitted. “I now maintain a healthy lifestyle and its become a way of life.”

3 She genuinely loves to work-out…

While many women can relate to lacking motivation for keeping active, Catherine can’t get enough of her customised routine. She makes time to sweat it out no matter what her busy career brings and so can you.“Being in Coronation Street and playing the character that I play is a lot of motivation for me to hit the gym because Eva is consistently wearing ridiculously short tight dresses. So when I look at the things in her wardrobe that’s enough, I think OK I need to hit the gym," she laughed.“For me , I either get up an hour earlier or you go to bed an hour later. People come up with all kinds of excuses but it’s down to motivation.”

HELLO! Online readers about.Eva Mendes is the celebrity whose body she’d most like to have, because she “has amazing curves” and her body is“toned but not skinny”.”I don’t want to be thin, to me keeping fit is about being healthy and looking healthy.”

5 She makes time for what’s important…

With her dedication to helping out charities such as Sport Relief, she’s the kind of star whose healthy outlook a woman can really find inspirational.“Paul and I are doing Sport Relief together this year which is a mile long walk, jog or run. The reason why we’re doing that is I don’t really like running but it gives me an achievable goal. Weight training is fine, but I really don’t like running very much!"However the Sport Relief mile is very little money to enter and everybody can get dressed up and have a laugh with it. It’s fun and hopefully it will inspire people to continue on a fitness journey.”
