Kesha looks healthy and happy in first post-rehab appearance

Pop star Kesha was looking back to her usual self on the red carpet at the weekend as she attended the Humane Society of the United States 60th Anniversary Benefit Gala.

The singer posed for pictures at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on Saturday in Beverly Hills, California, showing off her figure in a sheer black gown. Kesha wore her blonde locks with vibrant colours including bright green, and pink streaks.

Kesha is back after completing a stint in rehab

The event supported the “lifesaving work of The HSUS, which has scored victories for animals and charted a course for driving transformational change in the years ahead,” according to the organisation’s website. It comes after she announced a stint in rehab for what she described as an eating disorder.

The 27-year-old smiled she faced photographers just a few weeks after letting fans know she was on the mend by sharing a picture of herself peering out of a plane window as she headed home.

“Happy to be back! Feeling healthy & working on tons of new music. I can't thank my fans enough for all the love & support u have given me,” she wrote on Twitter March 7, following her release from the therapy facility.

“Life is beautiful. I'm so blessed to have u all,” she continued before adding a picture of herself wearing an “Ima survivor” top and captioning the snap: “had to go play in the sand.”Alongside her new image, Kesha has dropped the dollar sign in her name which used to replace the ‘S’.The Timber singer updated her 3.16million followers on Twitter throughout January and asked her pal to reassure those who cared about her that she was doing great too when she didn’t have internet access.
