I’m spreading the word that celebrities are just like us... They too have trouble with exercise and eating. It’s up to you whether you are fit and healthy. It’s about starting now wherever you are, and not only doing exercise – you also need to eat right.Sometimes you can have your cheat meals...Other times you need to include protein, then do exercise and strengthen with weights. That really shapes the body – everyone looks at actors and says they are toned, but they have to put the effort in. Even half an hour a day for 4 days a week can change your body.Try and fit protein into your diet...If you don’t want to eat it, drink it! ‘Everything but the Cow’ protein drinks taste good because they have real fruit in there, which means you get both protein and fibre so the combination fills you up for longer. They’re great before and after exercise – they’re not supposed to replace a meal, they just give you the nutrients you need after a workout.Get rid of that sugar craving...Go at least two weeks where it’s out of your system – sugar is like a drug. Eventually the craving will slow down and your energy levels will be a lot different. My drinks give you the fibre and protein you need, without the sugar.Combine cardio and circuits for a toned, healthy look...My workout consists of three cardio workouts, two circuits and one core. I go back and forth so that you combine cardio with strength training to give you abs. It’s the intensity and frequency you do these things that make the change.

Workout tips

You don’t have to do it all at once...If you’re a beginner, do 20 minutes a day three times a week. Then on your second or third week, add a fourth day, and work your way to a full hour programme five days a week. You can do 15 minutes in the morning and evening and go for a long walk, it doesn’t have to be all in one go – just make sure you are moving around for an hour a day.Eating and exercise go hand in hand...If you’re trying to change your body, you can’t do one or the other because it won’t change anything. If your programme hasn’t been working, add strength training or more cardio and suddenly you’ll see changes.Eating right is a lifestyle commitment...If you’re trying to lose weight, have half the portion you would normally have, and eat carbs early on in the day, before 3pm. If you eat right 80 per cent of the time, you can eat what you want the rest of the time without feeling guilty.Do something that will push you...Last time I needed a boost, I ended up signing up for a charity climb up Kilimanjaro! You need to push yourself and think outside of the box. When Jessica Alba was doing Into The Blue she said, “I need to go scuba diving”, so we spent a week with a guide scuba diving every day, and she was ready to do the movie.Ramona Braganza is working with Everything But The Cow – a new soya protein and real fruit shake.
