Matcha tea can be used as an energy booster

Healthy hair:

Brunettes can rinse their hair with black tea to add shine and a silky look, while Rooiboos (Redbush) tea can be used for adding colour to brunettes and giving a light reddish colour to blondes.

Rose bud infusions are rich in vitamin C and also help in the production of collagen which is vital for healthy skin and hair.

Skin SOS:

Tea is an easy and effective natural beauty remedy that can be used to cleanse, tone and moisturise the skin.

Rooiboos is used in many cosmetic products and once chilled it can be used as a spray to refresh and apply antioxidants directly to the skin. Meanwhile green tea is also high in antioxidants and has anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties which mean it acts as a great cleanser.

Chamomile tea is known for its calming properties, which means it can also help to reduce redness, treat acne and soothe tired eyes.

Digestion and weight loss:

While celebrities including Mark Wright have been hailing the benefits of their favourite 'teatox', other blends including Yerba Mate, peppermint and green tea can also help to aid digestion and boost the metabolism.

One of the latest tea trends is Green Matcha tea, a traditional Japanese ground tea that is ground into a fine tea powder. With celebrity fans including Ashley Olsen, Matcha is a great energy booster which also lowers blood sugar and cholesterol levels.

Matcha tea also helps to eliminate toxins and is therefore great for glowing skin.

Sleep soundly:

Lavender or Valerian root are both considered natural sleeping pills. Brew these natural remedies and add to your bath for a relaxing experience before bedtime.
