On leading a balanced lifestyle:

"You know, I think it's just about taking it easy and not putting too much pressure on yourself. I think that's what our company is also about. It's like, you want to be as healthy and as fit as you can because it's great for you, but you also want to enjoy your life and be able to have some fun and have everything in moderation," she told Harper's Bazaar.

On staying active:

"I try to be active six days a week. My rule is to try and break a sweat six days a week, whether through an intense workout or running around with the kids," she told The Zoe Report. "I just try to break a sweat."

On the benefits of a food journal:

"When you jot things down, you can really see what's going on," she told SELF. "What are you eating? What are your food patterns? You can get clued in to the things that are going on with you."

On finding the time to exercise:

"Because it feels like I don’t have enough time, I’ve become efficient at putting together some go-to routines—just like I do with my meal prep," she writes in her lifestyle book Pretty Happy: Healthy Ways to Love Your Body. "Some days, I go to a Spin class—an intense 45-to 60-minute cardio workout to music. Other days, I go to a dance studio and do 2 to 3 hours of advanced jazz-modern, which hits all three of my goals—cardio, strengthening, and toning."

On the secret to abs:

"You just have to work out abs. For me, I think food too is huge. But I've been doing Pilates for so many years, my main workout is always focused on the core," she told Glamour. "It's mainly core. When everything starts from the core, I think that's where the strength comes from and that should be the centre of everything."

On a great fitness regime:

"You have to eat right. Everybody wants some sort of secret and there just isn't, it's just you have to work out," she told Us Weekly. "I wouldn't say [I work out] a lot, just consistently. People think for some reason you have to work out for two and a half hours, but it can be a little. It can be 20 minutes, it could be 40 minutes, but you have to get it in."

On staying motivated:

"Another way I stay motivated is putting my intentions out there, and that starts with putting on my workout clothes," she told Vogue. "Putting my workout clothes on is the first step in getting to the gym, or taking a walk around the block – or doing anything that is about getting active."

On indulging:

"If I want to go out and eat at a restaurant with amazing food, I'll do that, like, once a week where I'm not thinking about it. I want to indulge!" she told SELF.

On dieting:

"I live by a rulebook of eating alkaline – no meat, no dairy, no gluten, I try to stay away from sugar," she told People.

On cleanses and detoxes:

"I actually really believe in cleansing, but I don't believe in long cleansing, over ten days is just too much," she told Elle. "You know what I think? I think everyone is still trying to figure it out, because everybody is different. I find it hard when people shove down an idea of a health fad and how it's supposed to make them look. That's impossible because everyone is so different."
