Vogue Williams has opened up about her personal battle with anxiety
"When my anxiety started in my early 20s I didn't realise it was anxiety, I just thought I was super stressed," Vogue wrote. "I regularly had what people commonly describe as 'the fear', that feeling of nervousness we sometimes get on a Monday morning ahead of a hectic week at work. The only confusing thing was that I had nothing to be nervous about.
"My career was taking off and I was super busy. I was getting TV work, modelling, DJing and loving every minute of life, so it made no sense to feel anxious."
The HELLO! Online blogger manages her anxiety with exercise
Vogue admitted that her anxiety was at its worst when she split from her husband Brian McFadden in 2015. However the HELLO! Online blogger has learned to manage her symptoms by talking to a counsellor and using natural methods.
"Exercise is the best anxiety antidote and makes a big difference to my mood. It calms me down," Vogue explained. "Eating lots of green vegetables aids it, as do almonds, and I take magnesium, a calming mineral, twice a day. I've also invested in an alarm clock that wakes me up by projecting natural light into my room, which is a more positive way to start the day than a loud beep."
