Tennis champion Marion Bartoli surprised fans this week as she stepped out looking unrecognisable with her new slender figure. The 31-year-old has been upping her fitness game in recent months, keeping her Twitter followers updated with sneak peeks of her workouts, and turned heads as she showed off the fruits of her labour.
Marion Bartoli revealed her new slender figure
Marion, who won the Wimbledon women's tournament back in 2013, was celebrating the launch of her new LOVE FILA collection in New York, wearing a white tennis ensemble as she revealed her dramatic weight loss and slim physique.
While some fans took to social media to express concern over the French star's appearance, Marion has opened up about her new look, and admitted that she "loves" the way she looks. "I love fashion and I love my new body," she told The Daily Mail.

She later added: "Everyone makes comments – they say you're too skinny, you're too this, you're too that. If you start to think about what other people think you'll never be able to please everybody and never be happy with yourself. I'm very happy with myself because I am the way I want to be."
Marion, who is concentrating on a career design after having retired from major tournaments in 2013, explained that she has been tweaking her training routine to fit her lifestyle – and revealed that nowadays she follows a different regime to when she was preparing for Wimbledon back in 2013.

"Now I'm sitting sketching all day rather than squat-lifting 200kg, so I'm not eating the same kind of food," she admitted. "When I played I fuelled my body – I used to eat more carbohydrates and drink sugary drinks on the court. Now I eat vegetables, salads, grains and protein shakes to give me energy for the gym."
She added: "If you look at pictures, I have the same body now that I had when I was 16, 17. I have a tiny frame but it's my natural frame. I'm perfectly happy with where I am now."
