Olympic golden couple Laura Trott and fiancé Jason Kenny have won historic gold medals in Rio. An extraordinary six days in the velodrome ended on Tuesday night with Laura becoming Britain's most success female Olympian of all time by winning her fourth gold medal, in the omnium. Just a few hours later, she watched as her future husband equalled Sir Chris Hoy's record with the sixth gold of his career - and his third of the Games – in the keirin final.
Laura, 24, was in tears as Jason, 28, pedalled his victory lap, his arms raised up in the air, before the couple embraced and kissed as the crowd cheered.

"I'm proud to be part of the team's Olympic success and doing my bit," said typically understated Jason. "I'm obviously really proud of Laura. I'd have been proud of her even if she'd lost. I'm glad she won, it makes her happy…
"The best thing about is that we get to come away together and race together. Not many couples in the Olympic village can enjoy their success together. So that's really special and I feel really lucky about that."
Jason, 28, has now matched Sir Chris Hoy's record of six Olympic golds
Laura, meanwhile, added: "I'm so so happy but I actually can't believe it and I'm trying really hard not to cry. I did not expect to have this at all, and I'm just so happy that it all came together."
Olympic love stories: The relationships behind the Rio champions
Laura, who is set to marry Jason in September, later took to Twitter to share a sweet message along with a photo of the couple kissing in the veldrome. "Arghhhh!!! I love him to bits @JasonKenny107!!" she wrote. "Our kids have to get some of these genes right?!"
The couple are set to tie the knot next month
The couple's efforts have helped to make Rio 2016 Team GB's most successful overseas Olympics, with 50 medals. Also on Tuesday, sailor Giles Scott brought home a gold medal, and there were silvers for diver Jack Laugher and cyclist Becky James.
Katy Marchant finished third in the women's track cycling sprint while Joshua Buatsi won boxing bronze. In the gymnastics, Any Tinkler – aged just 15, the youngest member of Team GB – won a bronze medal for her work on the floor, while Nile Wilson also came third on the high bar.
