She has reached her desired weight after taking part in an intense fitness regime. But Scarlett Moffatt has hit back at critics who claim she has lost too much weight. The Gogglebox star, who has dropped a dramatic 3st in just six months, insists she is supposed to be "slim".
During an appearance on The Wright Stuff on Wednesday, the 26-year-old told host Matthew Wright: "People forget because they can't see me on the telly, but I am only five foot - I am only meant to have a small frame! Apparently if you've got a big forehead you’re intelligent so I put it [social media pictures] up as a joke but people were like 'you've gone too far'."

Scarlett has impressively lost over three stone after she embarked on a strict exercise regime, whilst filming her bestselling DVD. She has since been sharing before and after photos of her dramatic transformation on Instagram.
However, fans have been quick to voice their concerns over the weight loss. "Please don't lose any more weight," wrote one follower, while another added: "I preferred her before Scarlett you conformed didnt think you of all people would." [sic]
The budding TV presenter, who won the latest series of I'm A Celebrity, recently revealed that she was motivated to lose weight after being told she was at risk of developing diabetes. "It was hard for me, going home and explaining to my mum and dad why I went to the doctors and what was wrong with me," she said during an appearance on This Morning. "They also tested my for diabetes type 2 because they said I could be pre-diabetic, and I was like 'Oh my gosh, I'm 25, I don’t understand how I’ve got to this.'"
Fitness aside, it seems Scarlett's career is really taking off as she has landed a role on two big new shows for Channel 4. One is an as-yet-unnamed entertainment series that she will co-host with comedian Alan Carr, while the other is already familiar to TV viewers - a reboot of TV dating show Streetmate. "I can't believe Channel 4 have asked me to present this iconic show," Scarlett said of her new hosting job. "I remember watching Davina on Streetmate when I was younger and thinking, 'Females can present entertainment shows too. I want to do that when I am older.' It's such a fun show and it's two of my favourite things to do; chat to randomers and a love story."
