Iskra Lawrence has shared another inspirational Instagram post with fans, encouraging them to love their bodies. The model posted a side-by-side comparison of her body when she is posing compared to when she is leaning forward in a relaxed position to show how natural it is to develop "fat rolls" when sitting down, and how it doesn't make women any less beautiful.

"Your fat rolls are beautiful. I made a video about them and the reason we have been lead to believe they aren't is because we don't see them in the media unless someone's being shamed for weight gain or ridiculed for their body," Iskra captioned the post.

"This is NOT the truth and not OK. Having rolls of skin/ fat that are soft/ squidgy or big/small does not define your beauty."

The model went on to explain why she had shared the photo, telling her followers: "I wanted to show you how my body looks when I'm relaxed and when I'm posing right next to each other so you can see how easy it is to manipulate how a body looks."

Iskra also reflected on her own experiences as model, and how all of the images chosen of her for beauty campaigns have typically been the ones where her stomach looks flattest.

"Which for a long time lead me to believe that's how I should look," she confessed, adding: "Because even if I did happen to have a few shots where I'm in a position you can see back fat or rolls someone had decided it's more 'beautiful' 'aspirational' or will inspire more customers to buy the product if those so called 'flaws' didn't exist."

Iskra said that thankfully she had seen changes in the industry since she first started modelling, and highlighted her Aerie lingerie campaign as an example of how some brands are bucking the trend by not retouching their images or presenting only one body type in their campaigns.

Her post has been well received by fans, many of whom thanked her for her "inspirational" words and saying they agreed with her body philosophy. It comes just two months after Iskra stripped down to her underwear on a busy New York Subway train to share another empowering message about body confidence, which was watched close to a million times on her YouTube account.
