Claire Richards appeared on This Morning on Wednesday to perform Steps' new single with the rest her band mates, Lee Hatchford-Evans, Lisa Scott-Lee, Ian Watkins and Faye Tozer. And while viewers enjoyed the performance, all eyes were on the mum-of-two's incredible figure following her six-stone weight loss. The star, who has a history of yo-yo dieting, has previously struggled to control her weight, but is now looking better than ever after adopting a healthier lifestyle. Claire stepped onto the stage in a revealing fishnet top with a red PVC corset, which enhanced her enviable waistline, teamed with a pair of corset trousers. A pair of leg-lengthening boots completed her ensemble and added height to her slender frame. Beauty-wise, the 40-year-old looked cool with her blonde pixie haircut styled in a sweeping side parting and tinted with a candy floss pink hue.

Claire, who has fluctuated between a size 20 and a size eight over the years, often speaks out about her journey with food and dieting, previously admitting that food was "like a drug". She opened up in her book, All of Me: My Story, telling readers: "Food for me is almost like a drug – I get an instant gratification from it, but it doesn’t last very long. So then I have to find the next thing to eat to satisfy my craving. You could compare it to being a drug addict or an alcoholic."

Last year, the singer told Bella magazine that she hoped that her weight loss would be for good this time. She said: "I hope I’ve broken the cycle but I think I’ve learned my lesson by saying: ‘This time it’s for good’. Portion sizes have always been my downfall. I never needed to eat the amount of food I did – I eat a fraction of what I used to now."
