Wendy Williams has certainly made the most of her time at home during the pandemic, and while she didn't plan it, the 56-year-old came out of lockdown with a new, leaner look.

The presenter recently opened up about her impressive 11kg weight loss as she kicked off the new season of her popular show. "I've lost 25 pounds – look!" she told the audience.
"And I didn't do it on purpose. It's just that food became disgusting to me."

She continued: "I was cooking at first and it was all good, I was shovelling stuff in my mouth. Everything from hot dogs to lobster, you know, king crab legs – all that stuff."
"Then it became, 'I'm done with food,'" she explained.

Wendy then told her audience that she didn't even realise just how much weight she had lost until she went to see the doctors for a routine check-up.

"(The doctor) told me the weight, and I was like 'I haven't weighed this little since high school!'" she said. "Uh-huh!"
This isn't the first time Wendy has opened up about her weight.
The star previously opened up in an interview with The Cut in 2017 about how she managed to lose 50 pounds before her 55th birthday.

Wendy explained: "When I reached 50, it was like an equator to my life. I lost 50 pounds in time for my birthday on my own."
The chat show host follows a healthy diet
The star also follows a healthy, balanced diet, and is a fan of everything from lentil soup to green vegetables.
"I love greens – spinach is my favourite. I love kale, avocado, and cauliflower," she told the publication. The star also tries to keep her fridge at home healthy at all times.
"Our refrigerator is ridiculously shaven down. I entertained yesterday and all I had were cashews and water. I told them [my guests], 'Before you come, eat something.' Well, they're not on our diet!" she said.
Wendy is a pescatarian, while her entire family are vegetarians. To workout, Wendy enjoys pilates, and has a trainer who helps to distract the star from the workout.
