Anyone who suffers from eczema will know that even the tiniest of irritants can cause an uncomfortable flare-up, resulting in aggravated, dry and sore skin.

Eczema sufferers will also know that's a plethora of products out there claiming to be the best body creams to soothe eczema. Given that the condition is often caused by a problem with the skin barrier function, which can be helped by using moisturiser regularly, it makes sense there's an abundance of eczema body creams on the market.

But which eczema body creams actually work to tackle irritated, itchy and sore skin? Look for fragrance-free formulas with soothing and hydrating ingredients such as ceramides, as a starting point.

We've collated an edit of eczema creams from high street and online retailers, such as Boots and Lookfantastic, including well-known brands such as CeraVe, Cetaphil, Aveeno plus little-known wonders that work their magic on irritated skin.
