On Friday the star gave her followers an update on her recovery. She shared a photo of a carton of soup and a hefty-looking sandwich, captioned: "Thankyou Dermot O'Leary for the sweetest delivery of chicken soup and salt beef. Just what I needed.

Dermot O'Leary sent Holly a care package

Holly's co-host Phillip Schofield has likely been missing her. It was his first week back on the show following an extended absence amid his brother's court trial, and then the Easter break.

"Well, hiya," he began, while sitting alongside stand-in presenter, Rochelle Humes. "Holly isn't well today so sadly off today and perhaps a few more days with a bout of shingles. Ouch.

"So if you're watching at home, Holly, then get well soon. The whole team sends their love. Thank you, Rochelle, for coming to play."

Shingles is a viral infection that causes an uncomfortable rash, often brought on by a weakened immune system, striking when people are feeling run down.
