Holly Willoughby shared a new update on her health on Saturday after she was forced to miss an entire week of This Morning after contracting shingles.
The ITV presenter has been housebound during her recovery but revealed that she was finally able to leave her home and take her family dog for a walk over the weekend as her health improves.
Sharing a photo of her Golden Retriever, named Bailey, on Instagram, Holly penned: "And I'm out of the house… the birds are putting on quite the show today… spring sounds beautiful."
On Friday the star admitted that she is feeling "much better" as she shared a photo of the sweet get-well gift she received from This Morning's Dermot O'Leary.
Holly posted a photo of a carton of soup and a hefty-looking sandwich, which she captioned: "Thankyou Dermot O'Leary for the sweetest delivery of chicken soup and salt beef. Just what I needed.
"Feeling so much better, thank you for all your well wishes," she added.
The presenter let fans know she was unwell on Sunday, writing on Instagram Stories: "Hi… Just to let you know I may be away for the rest of the week as I have shingles… I'll be back as soon as I'm better."
According to the NHS website: "Shingles is an infection that causes a painful rash." Symptoms include a tingling or painful feeling in an area of skin and a headache or feeling generally unwell.
Holly's co-host Phillip Schofield has likely been missing her. It was his first week back on the show following an extended absence amid his brother's court trial, and then the Easter break.
He first appeared back on the show on Monday, and at the top of the programme, he thanked viewers for their support during his time off and also sent well wishes to Holly.
