"It’s not fair to you to keep postponing the shows, and even though it breaks my heart, it’s best that we cancel everything now until I’m really ready to be back on stage again. I want you all to know, I’m not giving up… and I can’t wait to see you again!” – Celine xx…"

The 55-year-old singer has been on a break from performing for several years due to persistent muscle spasms, brought on by her condition.

Celine explained: "They sometimes cause difficulties when I walk, and it's not allowing me to use my vocal cords to sing the way I am used to. "I have a great team of doctors working alongside me to help me get better and I'm working hard with my sports medicine therapist every day to build back my strength and my ability to perform again but I have to admit it's been a struggle."

Her news comes after a further update on her future. Celine has reportedly sold her sprawling Las Vegas home in an affluent private community for a  $30 million.

According to The Dirt, she sold it in an off-market deal last month with the buyer listed as private equity investor Chuck Esserman. Little is known about the home due to its private sale, but according to Clark County records, the 31,000-square-foot residence is in the luxury Las Vegas development called The Summit Club.

Celine purchased the home in 2003 shortly after launching her 16-year Vegas residency. The Things report that the grand property includes three large bedrooms, a massive outdoor space with a pool, a private bar, and access to a semi-private golf course.

It is unknown why Celine is choosing to move on, but her ill-health is continues to be a concern for her and her family.

Recently, her sister Claudette Dion spoke to Le Journal de Montreal about the star's illness, and her hopes for Celine being able to one day get back on stage.

Admitting that she hadn't wanted to speak about the illness at first because it was such a difficult subject, Claudette told the publication that she was now ready to open up.

Celine has been keeping a low profile following her health battle

On Celine's Instagram video in December, in which the singer opened up about her health battle, Claudette said: "She has done it with composure. I know she was holding herself back. It wasn’t done in a moment of crisis, with tears, in distress. She simply explained what it was."

On her famous sister's strength, she added: "Rather than crying about her fate, I’m trying to send her positive vibes and to make sure that one day, she’ll be able to get back on stage."
