July 26, 2013

One Direction are expanding their already enormous empire with a make-up collection. The British pop group has teamed up with London-based make-up brand MUA Cosmetics to create 'Little Things' - a collection of lipstick, lip gloss, blush and nail polish inspired by the boys' favourite colours and flavours.

A scented lip balm is sure to be a winner, with the promise of "super soft lips that smell good enough to eat". The balms will be available in five shades, named after each member's favourite flavour - Harry Loves Strawberry, Zayn Loves Watermelon, Louis, Loves Vanilla, Niall Loves Cherry, and Liam Loves Blueberry.Lipsticks will also be available, the line entitled 'Kiss you'. The colours range from baby pink - 'Moments' - to scarlet - 'Be Mine'. Blushers are available in 'Rose Riot', 'Coral Cutie' and 'Pink Explosion'.The collection also include five nail polishes - each emblazoned with the face of the boy band members.

Each of the products in the line will be priced under £3, according to the MUA Cosmetics website, and will be available at Superdrug.

Earlier this year, the pop super stars also launched their first fragrance, 'Our Moment', which is expected to bring in sales of £78 million. They also released a line of school supplies with Office Depot as part of a new anti-bullying campaign.

Part of the campaign were videos of each of the members talking about bullying. Harry said, "I think bullying is such a huge problem that I think so many people just overlook because it's kind of always been there and it's always been an underlying thing."

He adds, "It's almost like now the bullies aren't going to say that there's something happening and then so many of the people being bullied are scared to say that they're being bullied. Even in terms of school they don't want to say that they have a bullying problem, so it's all kind of a cover up. "Louis, meanwhile, talks about social media bullies, and Zayn acknowledged the difficulty of speaking up about bullying. Liam urges bullies to be brave and truthful, and Niall discusses how widespread the issue of bullying is in schools.
