Candice Swanepoel's life as a model sees her rocking a wide range of drastic new looks, but the Victoria's Secret angel has floored fans with her most recent makeover. The 26-year-old has been transformed into style icon and Hollywood legend Marilyn Monroe, as part of a new campaign for beauty giant Max Factor.

Candice could be the Hollywood siren herself with her long wavy locks turned peroxide blonde and styled into Marilyn's iconic curls. A statement red lipstick and flawless black winged eyeliner finish off Candice's old Hollywood look and she can be seen sporting a white halternecked ensemble, a nod to Marilyn's world-famous scene in The Seven Year Itch.
The South African beauty gave fans a teaser of the campaign earlier this year, sharing a photo of her makeover on Instagram. "Through my work with @maxfactor I'm lucky to be able to transform through makeup," she captioned the image. "Here @patmcgrathreal and @shayashual transformed me into Marilyn."
Candice is virtually unrecognisable as she channels the iconic blonde bombshell
"Fact is Mr max factor was originally responsible for making Norma Jean into Marilyn all those years ago," she added. "It's the perfect time of year to give yourself a dramatic new look or be more adventurous with your makeup. #glamjan."
It comes as no surprise that the young model chose to pay tribute to Marilyn Monroe. The iconic blonde bombshell was revealed as Max Factor's Global Glamour Ambassador back in January, more than half a century after her tragic death.
"Through expert diagnosis and make-up artistry, Norma Jean's facial features were pulled out and dramatised through make-up," said Pat McGrath, Max Factor's Global Creative Design Director. "Her skin was creamy and flawless, the shape of her eyes was elongated through clever use of eyeliner and her lips were accentuated with a sultry red shade, becoming the key focal point of the entire look."
