Kylie Jenner caused a stir in the beauty world earlier this year when she admitted to using "temporary lip fillers" for her world-famous pout, and now the reality TV star has given more details about her treatment. The 18-year-old praised the plastic surgeon who has helped her to achieve her desired look, and revealed what option she has chosen.
Kylie Jenner has revealed more details about her temporary lip fillers
"I still do Juvéderm for my lips. I go to Dr. Ourian in Beverly Hills," she told the New York Times. "He’s the best, and he’s super natural about it. I was going to somebody before, and it was just looking crazy."
While Kylie is loving her new look, she admitted that she won't be making a permanent change any time soon.
"I would recommend that anyone who gets it done go for a filler that lasts only two to four months," she added. "It’s annoying to keep going back, but you have the option of stopping it."
Instead, the Keeping up with the Kardashians star turns to make-up to complete her look for a temporary solution.
"I like lip liners over lipsticks," she said. "I have so many of them from so many different brands, so I just pick the colour that works.
"I’m in the middle of creating my own lip kit, and I’m doing my three favorite colors: nude, a sepia color and a true brown. I’m super quick at this now. I could do this in 10 minutes. But if I’m doing lashes, it’ll take a few extra minutes."
Initial reports that Kylie had opted for cosmetic surgery work first surfaced in 2014, and while the star never directly addressed the speculation, she did take to Twitter to reveal she was "bored" at the amount of interest surrounding the rumours.
However earlier this year Kylie chose to reveal the truth, during an episode of her family's hit show. "I have temporary lip fillers," she admitted. "It's just an insecurity of mine and it's what I wanted to do."
Confiding in her older stepsisters Kim Kardashian and Khloé Kardashian, Kylie went on to explain that her initial reluctance to speak out came because of the media attention surrounding their family. "Everyone always picks us apart," she said.
