This year's British Fashion Awards ceremony wasn't just about the outfits - stars from Cheryl Fernandez-Versini to Victoria Beckham pulled out all the stops with their hair and make-up too.
We take a look at how to recreate some of the best beauty looks of the night...
Cheryl Fernandez-Versini
Hair: For Cheryl's laidback chic hairstyle, simply sweep your tresses back into a low bun with a middle parting, leaving a few strands loose to frame your face.
Eyes: Cheryl's look was all about dramatic lashes – and the easiest way to achieve this is with false, individual sets. Start by curling your natural eyelashes and adding a coat of mascara, then use tweezers to apply the false sets one at a time – attach the lash to your existing lash line, to align it with the natural curve of your eyes.
Lips: Nude lips are a huge trend this winter, so stick to a shade similar to your skin tone – if you're unsure test it in natural light, as a lipstick that's a shade too light can look slightly washed out.
Victoria Beckham
Hair: For Victoria's Brigitte Bardot-esque updo, start by backcombing the crown area of your tresses and then working through the sections into the middle. Split your hair into two ponytails and secure with a band a few inches from the ends. Using a pair of chopsticks, place one either side of the band and then roll inwards the middle until you reach your head – then pin in place. Repeat on the other side, and use hairspray to secure the whole look.
Eyes: The fashion designer opted for her trademark smokey eye look for the glitzy bash, a classic red carpet look. Start by dabbing highlighter in the corner of your eyelid, sweeping directly under your eyebrows. Take you’re the lighter eyeshadow shade and sweep across the entire eyelid, making sure to blend. Next, take the darker eyeshadow and begin to apply it at the outside corner of your eyes, sweeping inwards. Keep blending until you're happy with the shade.
Lips: Victoria opted for no lip make-up, but make sure to keep your pout moisturised by keeping a lip balm handy for luscious looking lips. In the colder months, you may want to gently exfoliate your lips once a week – mix a tablespoon of brown sugar with honey for a homemade, natural scrub.
Rosie Huntington-Whiteley
Hair: Rosie chose to wear her blonde locks down in a sleek and chic style for ultimate red carpet glamour. Start by spritzing wet hair with a heat protection spray. Divide your tresses into sections, and blow dry straight by pointing the dryer's nozzle downwards, brushing through with a round brush. Secure with a strong hold hairspray to keep the sleek look lasting all night!
Eyes: Embracing the party season, Rosie wowed with pale pink metallic eyeshadow. Team with a hint of kohl eyeliner and a slick of mascara for a simple yet showstopping finish.
Lips: Pale pink, glossy lips were the star's choice for the night. Start by adding a hint of primer to your lips, and then drawing the outline with a lip liner matching your lipstick as closely as possible. Using a brush, apply your lipstick and fill in the colour. Add a slick of nude lipgloss for ultimate shine.
Jourdan Dunn
Hair: Jourdan gave fans serious hair inspiration as she styled her hair into a sleek bob. Apply heat protective spray to your locks and then divide into sections. Using straighteners, work from the bottom sections on to the top, straightening each section and spritzing with hairspray to keep the sleek finish.
Eyes: If you want smokey eye make-up that's a bit softer than black shades, take a leaf out of Jourdan's book and opt for dark greys. Start with the lighter shades in the corner of the eye and then work outwards, adding darker shades to the outer corner and blending. For the softer look, it's better to apply less make-up and keep building and blending until your desired shade.
Lips: For statement nude lips like Jourdan's, use a lip liner as close to your skin tone as possible. Next, apply a slick of nude lipstick – matte shades can make for an understated yet glamorous look.
Kate Bosworth
Hair: Kate was radiant with her blonde locks swept into a super sleek low bun. To achieve this ballerina-inspired look, pull your hair back into a ponytail, brushing out any bumps or loose strands. Spritz hairspray and run your hand through your hair to smooth any wisps. Separate the ponytail into two, then take one of the sections, twist tightly and wrap around the ponytail. Do the same with the other section, continuing to keep hair pulled back for the edgy poker straight finish. Secure with a hairtie.
Eyes: To recreate Kate's shimmering eye make-up opt for metallic or glittering eyeshadow. Team with false lashes or volumising mascara for a striking look.
Lips: A bold pink lip always makes a statement – opt for a light fuschia shade like Kate to show off your girlie side. Because it's a bright colour try to stick to matte shades for a paired down yet glamorous finish.
