Mineral make-up myths and tutorial: Nadine Baggott meets SJ Froom

December 2, 2015

Nadine Baggott busts mineral make-up myths and gets a tutorial from Sarah Jane Froom on how to achieve a quick flawless face.

I wear mineral make-up every day and think that it's the quickest, easiest way to achieve a quick flawless face. I was first introduced to it backstage at This Morning where the make-up artists use it on both the male and female presenters.

It can flare under camera lights (that’s the titanium dioxide mineral that is silvery), so needs a matte powder down the centre panel, but is quick and easy to use and master.

So who better to ask to bust some mineral make-up myths and get a tutorial from than SJ from BareMinerals?

Sarah Jane (to give her full name) knows all there is to know about mineral make-up and here she gives a guide to applying concealer, base, anti-ageing contouring and some clever eyeliner and contouring tricks for hooded eyes. She has used BareMinerals throughout including their classic Original Mineral Foundation.

And here are a list of mineral makeup brands that I know and trust. I really think that it can suit all skin types and all skin ages:

BareMinerals Matte Foundation - is what I wear on TV as it doesn't glare or flare under the lights.

Laura Mercier Mineral Foundation - is what I wear every day for a quick fix, flawless face. It has a pearl extract in it for a soft glow.

Blemish Remedy - is a really clever new mineral makeup from Bareminerals with an anti inflammatory tree bark extract and tea tree to help reduce breakouts

Youngblood - proof that mineral makeup can look super lightweight
