Gwyneth Paltrow may have a team of hair and beauty experts on hand to advise her, but the 43-year-old has admitted that daughter Apple is increasingly becoming her beauty guru. The actress revealed that her 11-year-old is "very into beauty" and even taught her mother how to save time when applying her make-up by buying her a handy present.

"I'm not very good at putting on make-up, which is, I think, a result of having had my make-up done for 20 plus years," the Oscar-winning actress told Into the Gloss. "But now I can do the foundation, a little cheek, and some mascara. Luckily I have my own foundation colour because I helped develop it.
"The Juice Beauty Illuminating Primer and Serum Foundation are foolproof and great. I just apply the primer with my fingers like a moisturizer, and then with the foundation I use one of those little Beautyblenders. My daughter gave it to me—she’s very into beauty products."

It's not the first time that Gwyneth has confessed she looks to others for advice when it comes to doing her own hair and make-up at home. The blonde beauty recently credited fellow actress and close friend Cameron Diaz for helping her when the pair were still starting out in the world of Hollywood, revealing that Cameron often shared her beauty tips and tricks with her.
"Cameron Diaz is probably my biggest beauty mentor of my friends," the mother-of-two told Elle. "She knows how to do her own hair and make-up."
She added: "And she was the one who really taught me how to do my own hair and make-up back in the day so she's my biggest beauty mentor," the Iron Man 3 actress said. "There are lots of tips – I can't remember them off the top of my head."
