Stars from Taylor Swift to Selena Gomez pulled out all the stops for the iHeartRadio Music Awards on Sunday night, not only with their show-stopping outfits but with glamorous hair and make-up looks.
We share some handy tips on how you can recreate the top five beauty looks of the night – click through for the full gallery…
Taylor Swift
Hair: The Bad Blood hitmaker wore her blonde bob down in a sleek style, adding heaps of volume for a striking finish. If you have a fringe, try leaving it in a slightly tousled style like Taylor for instant laidback glamour.
Eyes: For a subtle shimmering finish, take note from the singer and try a nude metallic eyeshadow. To get her red carpet finish, team with a hint of eyeliner and bold voluminous lashes.
Lips: Nude and matte lips are two of the season's biggest trends, and it comes as no surprise that Taylor effortlessly mastered both. Start by lining your lips and then using a lip brush, gradually apply your chosen pale pink shade – this way, if you make a mistake it's easy to go back and fix it!
Demi Lovato
Hair: Demi gave us major hair inspiration with her poker straight bob. If you want to add a touch of edge like the star, simply part your hair to the side and secure with hairspray to keep the super-sleek finish.
Eyes: This look is all about bold lashes – while false lashes are an easy and quick way to create the style, if you want to stick to mascara opt for one that not only adds volume but also gives the illusion of thick lashes.
Lips: Take a leaf out of Demi's book and give a nod to your gothic side with dark berry hued lipstick – make sure to pick a liner that matches your lipstick colour as close as possible, as any differences will be more obvious with this type of statement colour.
Selena Gomez
Hair: With summer around the corner we're looking forward to going back to beachy waves, and Selena has already set the bar high, wearing her brunette locks down in loose, tousled curls for ultimate laidback chic. Brush through your curls and add a spritz of sea salt spray for red carpet-ready texture and volume.
Eyes: Winged eyeliner is a classic beauty look for a reason. Follow your eyelash line as closely as possible to get Selena's subtle yet striking look – and pair with long lashes for a show-stopping finish.
Lips: Pale pink lips are a major trend this season, but if you want to make a statement, opt for a coral-hued shade that really pops like the one Selena chose for the night.
Zendaya
Hair: Zendaya has given us major hair goals with this chic blunt bob, teamed with a poker straight full fringe. Blow dry straight or smooth over your hair with straighteners – the key to this style is to keep it as sleek as possible, so use a smoothing serum and strong hold hairspray to ensure it stays in place.
Eyes: To get the star's smokey eye make-up, take a nude eyeshadow and use a brush to sweep it across the eyelid. Then, using a soft brush, apply your medium colour eyeshadow, brushing along the base of your eyelid, above the lash. Slowly start to blend it into the eye socket crease, working outwards to the outer corner of your eye. Finally, apply the darkest colour with an angled brush, starting from the outercorner of your eye and work inwards closely to the edge of the lash line – then blend, blend blend!
Lips: To complement her bold eye make-up, Zendaya chose to go for nude lips – if you're after a striking but subtle look for the daytime, add a high shine lipgloss like Californian beauty.
Iggy Azalea
Hair: Take the ponytail from day to night like Iggy by smoothing your hair to a poker straight, sleek style with a side parting, then tying back at the nape of your neck. If there are any flyaways, spritz some hairspray on a clean toothbrush and smooth over.
Eyes: If you're going for bold statement lips, keep your eye make-up simple and opt for a hint of mascara – for a night out, add winged eyeliner like Iggy for a glamorous finish.
Lips: Dark lipsticks make for an instant edgy and effortlessly cool statement – but they can be notoriously difficult to get right. Make sure you find the right shade for you, so you don't risk looking washed out. Warm skin tones work well with reddish-purple hues, while paler skinned-ladies should look for lighter shades.
