The new range, named Fenty Beauty by Rihanna, is set to launch in the autumn season next year, but the details of what products will feature have yet to be revealed.
"Fenty Beauty by Rihanna is a beauty rocket ship that will appeal to a huge and diverse global audience," the company's CEO David Suliteanu told WWD. "We are aiming for the stars."
He later added: "Kendo is honoured to work with Rihanna."
The marks another milestone in the star's beauty empire
Rihanna is no stranger to the world of cosmetics. Not only has she already launched several fragrances including her most recent, RiRi, but she has also collaborated with make-up giant MAC on a limited-edition collection, as well as fronting their Viva Glam lipstick campaign in 2014.

The Diamonds singer also proved she was a force to be reckoned with when she launched her beauty and styling agency Fr8me in November, working with some of the industry's top make-up artists and stylists.
Rihanna is often hailed as a beauty icon
"Hair, make-up and styling play an important role in creativity," Rihanna told The Hollywood Reporter at the time. "I am very involved with that part of my process, so this agency was an organic thing for me to do."
She added: "We are lucky enough to have some of the best artists at Fr8me but I also have a soft spot for finding new talent with extraordinary skills!"
The pop diva embarked on the new venture with managing partner Benoit Demouy, and revealed the Los Angeles-based agency focuses on working with artists to help them book adverts, photoshoots and red carpet gigs.
