Victoria Beckham has revealed what prompted her to make the move into beauty

"I've always loved make-up, I'm very, very girly," the mother-of-four revealed to ITV's This Morning, in a teaser clip for their British TV exclusive set to air on Thursday. It was Victoria's mother who first introduced her to the world of hair and make-up, with the former Spice Girls singer admitting she was inspired by her mother's beauty regime.

"I used to sit and watch my mum get ready," she confessed. "My mum is very glamorous and I remember sitting on her bed and watching her apply her make-up, get dressed and do her hair, and I've always, always been very interested."

Nowadays, the stylish entrepreneur has millions of fans around the world coveting her make-up looks, which includes her trademark smoky eye make-up.

She revealed her mother was one of her beauty inspirations

Hailed as a beauty icon, Victoria revealed that she follows a simple philosophy when it comes to make-up. "I like to make the best of what I have," she said. "I'm not a supermodel, clearly, I'm not a make-up artist, I'm a real woman."

The collection is set to launch on Tuesday, but over the weekend Victoria gave her fans a sneak peek of what to expect when she debuted the products during her spring/summer 2017 show at New York Fashion Week.

Models turned heads on the runway with their clean, fresh skin and striking geometric coloured eye make-up, from Victoria's upcoming eye palette and liners.

Models rocked the new make-up during her NYFW show

"I am so excited to be using my Estée Lauder make-up in my show this season," Victoria revealed in a statement released by the cosmetics giant. "The starting point for my new make-up collection was beautiful skin—and I’ve stayed true to that with the beauty look for the SS17 show.

"The makeup really reflects the assured free spirit of the Ready to Wear this season, so the use of colour is quite carefree and applied in bold strokes across the eyes. Overall, the look doesn’t feel too perfect or considered."
