David Beckham has got a brand new tattoo! The 41-year-old took to Instagram stories on Thursday to give his 30.2 million followers a sneak peek of the eye-catching new inking on his calf.

David Beckham has opted for a new tattoo
The father-of-four posted a close-up snap of the intricate design, which features depicts a man and woman hugging while sat on a swing set in the forest, surrounded by butterflies. "The End Shamrock," David simply wrote across the photo alongside an emoji of the four leaf clover.
The footballer's caption appears to suggest that he headed to his favourite Los Angeles-based tattoo parlour,The Shamrock Social Club, to get the inking done. In fact, just a few weeks ago David headed to the studio to get a tattoo on the side of his neck, just above the collarbone.

It was wife Victoria Beckham who gave fans a first look at the body art, delighting fans by posting a black-and-white snap of the horse's head design on her own Instagram page. "Amazing artist Mark Mahoney @Shamrocksocialclub @davidbeckham X kisses from Los Angeles US VB," she captioned the snap.
While David has yet to confirm who created his latest tattoo, he has often turned to artist Mark when opting for new artwork, and has previously admitted he finds it "always nice to sit and listen to Mark's conversation" when he sat for five hours for a tattoo placed on his ankle and leg.

David has been making the most of his latest trip to the City of Angels. Earlier this week the doting dad enjoyed quality bonding time with his three sons, heading to an ice hockey match.
The British sporting champion beamed with delight in the heartwarming snap as he posed for a family photo with Brooklyn, 17, Romeo, 14, and Cruz, 11, as the group watched the game from their VIP box.
