With her hair being teased into voluminous waves and blusher applied to the apples of her cheeks, Michelle looked more than ready for her moment in front of the camera.

It was a far cry from her appearance on ITV's Good Morning Britain on Monday, when she was forced to skip hair and make-up after arriving late due to delays caused by the tube strike.

The HELLO! Online Blogger has since admitted that she hadn't brushed her hair for two days before arriving at the ITV studios, and only managed to get a quick slick of lip gloss and powder before going on air.

Speaking about the incident during an appearance on Nick Grimshaw's BBC Radio 1 show on Wednesday, Michelle explained: "I arrived with literally two minutes before I was due on set because of the traffic. I thought, 'I'm here to do a job, I'm ready' so I was walking and talking and someone was powdering me, putting a lip gloss on."

The 29-year-old confessed: "Honestly, I didn't brush my hair for two days. My friends were like, 'It looks like you've got dreadlocks.'"

Michelle also made light of her uncharacteristically dishevelled appearance by joking that she was trying to look like Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Caribbean following rumours that she is in discussions for a role in the next film.

"I don't want to shut those rumours down," she said. "I want to be in it. That would be very, very good, so if anyone's listening - Johnny Depp, are you listening? It's like I was pretending I was already in it, the other day!"
