Heidi Klum has shown fans what it takes to get red carpet ready in an Instagram video ahead of the amFAR gala. The supermodel posted a time-lapse video to show how she prepared for the event with the help of her glam squad.
The short clip shows Heidi sat in a white robe in her hotel room when make-up artist Linda Hay started to work her magic. After applying a base and under eye concealer, Linda brushed some bronzer onto Heidi's cheekbones then applied a deep brown eyeshadow onto her eyes.

At one point Heidi had three people preening her to ensure her hair and make-up is perfect, but the 43-year-old appeared unfazed and even chatted away on her phone while her team work away. With her gorgeous neutral eyeshadow look complete, Heidi's make-up artist applied false eyelashes to her upper lids, along with a fine line of black gel eyeliner. Heidi's look was perfected with some final touch ups of her eyeshadow and powder, before a pink lipstick was carefully applied to her lips.

Heidi wowed in a Versace gown as she attended the amFAR gala in New York with her boyfriend Vito Schnabel. And the mother-of-four hinted that they have some special plans for Valentine's Day on Tuesday, telling Entertainment Tonight that she is "very romantic and old fashioned".

"I do [have things planned," she said. "but if I tell them to you right now, then they wouldn't be a surprise anymore!" Heidi also spoke about how she continues to co-parent her children with ex-husband Seal, with whom she recently celebrated Christmas.

"It's never really easy, I guess, when you break up. There was probably a reason for it and it kind of takes its time but then, you know, were always there for our children and always will be," she said of how she and the singer make it work. "You always make it work. You just do."
