Amber Rose refuses to leave the house without applying product to her pout. The model admits going out in public with make-up-free lips is not an option for her.
"I would actually leave the house with no make-up on and just lipstick on, in case," she tells Us Weekly. "That's my thing. If I have anything on, it's definitely lipstick, 100 per cent."
Amber is so obsessed with lip coverage she has teamed up with her make-up artist Priscilla Ono on a trio of MUVA Mouth matte liquid lipsticks for Flirt Cosmetics, a company for which she serves as brand ambassador.
Priscilla, who is godmother to Amber's four-year-old son Sebastian with ex-husband Wiz Khalifa, explains the duo became inspired to create their own line after being disappointed with the quality of other products.
"Amber and I have tried every brand," Ono shares. "We definitely had our favourite formulas. We definitely had our un-favourite formulas.
"Some of them dry out your mouth way too much and some of them will actually create a build-up around the mouth, which basically eliminates the whole reason of wearing a liquid lipstick all day without having to touch up."
But according to Priscilla, MUVA Mouth lipsticks are flawless: "It doesn't get chunky throughout the day," the make-up professional notes. "Honestly, I don't suggest it, but I have literally worn it from morning until night and it doesn't crack or anything. A little goes a long way, so you don't have to apply lots of coats because it's so pigmented."
MUVA Mouth lipsticks are available in three shades - dark red Rosebud, grey orchid hue Badass and light peach Bash Love. Each limited edition lipstick sells for $18 (£14), and the products are available for purchase on the Flirt Cosmetics website.
