Ever wanted to glow like Jennifer Lopez but just can't work out how?
Or perhaps you shy away from bronzer as it always ends up looking orange on your skin? Well, worry not beauty lovers, bareMinerals make-up artist Hayley Wicks has given us the lowdown on three of the hottest beauty looks currently trending.
Jennifer Lopez always looks fabulous
How to get the J.Lo glow
This all comes down to the consistency of the foundation and highlighter you use.
"Lots of wet, dewy products and oily products," she told Cover Media. “We do a foundation called bareSkin Pure Brightening Serum Foundation, which is perfect for that look.
"Think highlighters and luminisers on top of that."
How to apply highlighter
Unsure where to actually put highlighter? Hayley explains where it should be applied.
"Always highlight your favourite features, like your cheekbones, and if you like your eyes, highlight your eyes! If you want to use a highlighter on your peepers you can put it across the eyelid, in the corners, underneath the brows. Even in a C shape around the eye socket," she shared.
Adding a light highlighter along the bridge of your nose and your Cupid's bow also works well.
How to ensure bronzer doesn't look orange
"Go for a shade that suits your skin tone. So, for fair skin go for something a little bit more taupey, as opposed to orange-based. And just make sure you use a fluffy brush and build up on it if you need to," Hayley said.
Darker skins can opt for orange, red, plum, burgundy or wine-coloured bronzers, while olive skins should try copper or earthy-brown shades.
