Alexa Chung and her trademark locks have become a constant source of #Hairgoals and a permanent fixture on many a Pinterest inspo board over the years, so it comes as no surprise that she's landed a major role as the newest face of L'Oréal Professionnel (L'Oréal’s in-salon brand). The 34-year-old IT-girl announced the exciting news to her 2.8 million Instagram followers on Wednesday morning. In the campaign photo Alexa sports a metallic biker jacket and showcases her enviable glossy and perfectly tousled waves.
Alexa stuns in new shots for L'Oréal Professionnel
"Woop woop! Very happy to be joining the @lorealpro family this year. Presumably because I pretend to be French a lot, I am the muse for their #ParisianNudes collection."
The Brit model-turned-designer will front the Parisian Nudes collection, which features 75 wearable shades, as well as the brands' best-selling Pro Fiber range. L'Oréal Professionnel also revealed a sneak behind the scenes preview of the campaign shoot. According to the brand, the Parisian Nudes collection is a new in-salon colour service 'based on the combination of two shades for natural-looking, multidimensional, wearable and elegant color result.' In other words, it's like a very subtle ombré.
The campaign is an exciting one for Alexa
This isn't the first time Alexa has teamed up with the brand. She first collaborated with L'Oréal Professionnel back in 2013 as the face of their INOA colour line and the brand was backstage for the launch of her first clothing label, ALEXACHUNG in May last year. And it seems they certainly have a thing for Instastars – they tapped models Taylor Hill and Hailey Baldwin back in February 2017 as their latest as muses. What a way to kick off the New Year!
