Rihanna took to Instagram on Monday to show off a brand new Fenty Beauty launch, and it's not what we expected. The singer teased Body Lava – a body highlighter/illuminator which looks seriously incredible. The range will consist of two shades; a rose gold version and a deep bronze. Whichever one you choose, you’ll be wanting to pack it for your summer holiday because it'll look great in the sunshine. Taking it one step further, Rihanna even showed us a little mini tutorial of her applying Lava on to her shoulders using a lilac kabuki brush. We predict a cult beauty product in the works, and if this doesn’t fly off the shelves we’ll be shocked.
The body cream isn’t out yet, but as soon as we find out a release date, we’ll let you know. We do know that fans were overcome with excitement. One Instagram fan joked: “She could be putting mayonnaise on her and I wouldn’t think twice. I’ll go buy mayonnaise.” Another wrote: “She is killing everyone in the makeup game.”
This is true to an extent. Since Fenty Beauty was released in September 2017, it has gone from strength to strength. The Pro Filt’R foundation line was praised for the range of shades offered and even paved the way for other brands to really extend their colour range.

The line’s Stunna Lip Paint, a red lipstick, launched in November 2017 and had fans whipped into a frenzy. Body Lava is definitely Fenty Beauty’s biggest launch of 2018 - will it live up to the hype? Something tells us YES.
