The royal family tend to make subtle changes when it comes to their tresses, never really differentiating their manes drastically. However Lady Amelia Windsoris going against the grain and has just had the most dramatic hair transformation we've seen in ages. The 23-year-old has just landed her first beauty campaign for directional makeup brand Illamasqua, fronting its new Reign of Rock collection. Gone are her honey-toned locks, instead, replaced with a black, bluntly cut wig, lashingings of liner, large fake lashes and even a slick of black lipstick. WOW! In a separate shot, the royal is rocking a mane of tight curls, purple eyeshadow and red lipstick, and in another she is sporting crimson metallic colours on her eyes and a bold beehive.

The range includes three pieces that the young royal helped design – a pair of boots, clogs, and a belt. Made from a funky pink cowhide which features on all three items, its an eye-catching display that would amp up an outfit in seconds. Speaking about the collection and what it means to her, Amelia explained: "It was a huge honour and pleasure to work with Penelope, whose creations and talent I admire so much." She continued: "I wear Penelope Chilvers shoes every day, so it's a treat to be able to collaborate with the designer on this project. I find her incredibly inspiring both as a designer and friend. I decided to combine the shape of the classic Safari Boot with one of my favourite colours and prints which gives it a punkier feel, the clogs are an easy slide on and slide off style which makes them great for any time any place."
