When Topshop announced it would be ditching its beauty collection back in 2017, makeup fans were NOT happy. After eight years of being a go-to makeup brand, they bid farewell without even giving us a proper goodbye (sob). But ladies, wipe away those tears because it’s back and it’s looking better than ever. Oh, how we love a stylish makeover!

If you used to stock up in Topshop you’ll be pleased to know that some cult favourites are returning - remember the infamous glow pots? Well, they’re back with a-vengeance, ready to give your cheekbones some extra sparkle this Christmas time.

So what’s the buzz when it comes to the new products? Well, there’s an ‘invisible’ foundation powder, which might have something to do with the latest trend of natural looking makeup. Even Duchess Meghan famously requested her makeup artist use a foundation that will let her freckles shine through. It’s official, we no longer want to be caked in makeup, we just want to look ourselves - but better.

There’s a lot of chat amongst beauty editors about the textural glosses, which are another new addition – choose either matte or gloss to transform the finish and take your complexion to the next level. Think Glossier glosses, but slightly cheaper.

For lips, there are 83 shades and textures, including the return of the cult favourite zingy red, Rio Rio.

Also in the collection you’ll find plenty of eye products, 15 nail colours, and 10 brushes to help you perfect your craft.

We think you’ll agree, the packaging is pretty gorgeous. It’s more grown up, more sleek and the metallic chrome casing will ensure it’ll have pride of place on your dressing table.

And, you’ll be pleased to know that all of the products are certified as cruelty-free under the Leaping Bunny programme – the ‘gold standard’ for no animal testing.

Prices range from £5 to £16, and will be in-store and online from 2 November.
