Ciara has revealed that best friend Kim Kardashian has been giving her useful advice for the arrival of her first child. "We [go] over really personal stuff from the woman's side of things", said Ciara of Kim. Ciara is expecting her first child with rapper Future while Kim gave birth to her first daughter North West in June 2013.

"I'm obsessed with the Orbit stroller [Kim has] and she showed me how it works—the simplest things are so fun to you as a mom," Ciara admitted.Ciara revealed that she was expecting a boy in March in the form of the cake and baby shower invite, which were both blue in colour.She proudly took to Instagram to post a snapshot of the blue and white coloured cake which featured a blue pram as the topper and the words "Baby Love" emblazoned across the side.Speaking to US Weekly, Ciara said of choosing her child’s name: "I went with what felt right in my soul and my gut. I didn't second guess it," and admitted that being pregnant has been a wonderful opportunity. "I didn't even know what to expect, but it's been a very easy process. And it's been so much fun," Ciara continued.

In another snapshot, Kim was feeling nostalgic about her own baby shower as she posted a photo of the girlie group with the caption, "Celebrating @Ciara's baby shower today with @lala #mommymemories."
