Simon Cowell reveals how son Eric has grown in touching personal shots

Simon Cowell has been sharing more snaps of his growing little boy Eric.

The music mogul became a dad with girlfriend Lauren Silverman in February and showed off shots off his bundle of joy shortly after the birth. Now fans can see how the tot has grown in the fresh images posted on Twitter on Monday. The youngster can be seen wearing a stripy top with an anchor motif on the front as his head is cradled by his doting parent.

Another picture features the baby propping himself up on the back of the sofa and looking to the side.

The TV talent show boss captioned the photograph, “Very handsome like his dad,” before adding another tweet which read, “Oops I just sent a tweet to myself”.

Simon continued to proudly parade Eric on the micro-blogging website by sharing an image of his partner Lauren looking into her child’s eyes, through large sunglasses. “Mum and Eric,” he wrote alongside the snap after declaring “my little boy Eric is healthy and happy”.

It is clear Simon has been taking time out to bond with his family recently and is even getting to catch upon TV programmes that he isn’t involved in as he dominates UK primetime TV with offerings like Britain’s Got Talent and The X Factor coming up.

“Nearly finished the second season of house of cards. It is so good. I think it's the best thing I have ever seen on TV,” he posted a few hours later. Before updating the public with the latest shots of what his little boy looks like, the Simon – who often spends time in Los Angeles and New York – had revealed he was back in Britain relaxing and excited for his band One Direction’s success.

“Back to the uk today. Hope you are enjoying got talent. Next weeks show has a very special audition,” he teased. “Hearing very good reports on the one d stadium tour. I hear the shows are very special.”
