May 21, 2014

Coleen Rooney's youngest son Klay is growing up fast. The 28-year-old fashion star proudly showed off her little boy on Twitter in a couple of photos from his first birthday celebration. "My gorgeous birthday boy!!! 1 today!! X," wrote Coleen next to a black-and-white image of the cute toddler. The snap went down a treat with Coleen's 1.11million followers, who were quick to send congratulations to the footballer's wife on her youngest son's milestone celebration.

Coleen, who has two children with England football starWayne Rooney, was keen to give Klay the best birthday celebration possible - judging by a photo of her efforts from the previous evening. "Can't believe my baby is 1 tomorrow!!! Time goes TOO quick!!" she captioned a snap of her preparations, which included a collection of blue and white balloons, more than ten presents wrapped up in brightly coloured paper, and a cake in the shape of a car.

Doting mum Coleen has previously revealed to HELLO! magazine that she would like to expand her brood. "I'd probably like another one — not too soon though," she said at the end of last year. "I think a girl would complete the family but because the boys get on so well, another boy would be just as nice. But at the moment life's good. It's busy but I'm enjoying it."

Manchester United forward Wayne is set to travel to Rio, Brazil where he will represent England in the World Cup next month. The star striker will most likely be joined by Coleen and the couple's two sons Kai and Klay on the trip. Fellow footballer's wife Alex Gerrard, who is married to Steven Gerrard, previously told HELLO! magazine that she was thinking about joining her husband and the team if they made it to the later stages of the tournament. Despite a reported ban on wives and girlfriends flying over, Alex said, "I'll probably speak to Coleen and the other girls and see what they're doing. I just want [the team] to do well."
